Who the f*ck are we?

Monique Sanchez
Host & Social Media Manager
Monique Sanchez was born in Miami Beach to Cuban parents who dreamed of having a daughter who would one day marry a Cuban Catholic doctor and become a refined lady of high society.
Instead, they got a sarcastic, foul-mouthed daughter born two days before Halloween who came out of the womb with an insatiable fascination with ghosts, the occult, true crime, and all things macabre.
To the dismay of her mother, Monique eventually moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. For over a decade, the award-winning actress has appeared in various film, tv, and theatre productions including, Law & Order and the hit Off-Broadway show and New York Times Critics Pick, Drunk Shakespeare, for which Stagebuddy called her performance “extraordinary.”
Then, in 2020, the world shut down. In search of a creative outlet, Monique turned to podcasting, after a serendipitous meeting with her future psychic sister and partner in true crime, Amy Traydon. Shortly thereafter, Another F*cking Horror Podcast was born.
When she’s not podcasting, Monique can be found pretending to be other people (see: acting) around New York City, pin-up modeling, and giving unsolicited “fun facts”, usually of the macabre nature, to unwitting patrons at dinner parties.

Amy Traydon
Host & Editor
Amy Traydon was also born in Miami, but moved away when she was five and instead grew up in the middle-of-nowhere in north Florida surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, and a wild squirrel she befriended. As an only child who was raised by alternative rock-loving, atheist parents in the country music-obsessed Bible Belt, she’s always been a bit of black sheep.
Fortunately, her parents encouraged her to embrace her weirdness.
Instilled with a love of sci-fi horror movie classics like The Thing and Alien from her dad and an obsession with crime novels by the likes of John Grisham, Carl Hiaasen, and Harlan Coben from her mom, it should come as no surprise that she grew up with a deep fascination with all things strange and morbid. She also inherited her dark sense of humor from them as well as a penchant for creative uses of the word “f*ck.”
While she’s always been intrigued by aliens and UFOs, her passion for the paranormal expanded to include all things ghostly when she discovered the glory that is the tv show Celebrity Ghost Stories in high school.
She technically has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, but realized that spending the rest of her life stuck in a laboratory wasn’t for her. After working in sales at a tech company in NH, a brief stint as a DJ in NYC, and running a legal cannabis farm on a weird, little island off the coast of Seattle, she returned to New York to work in events where she eventually met future bff Monique Sanchez, who introduced her to the glorious world of true crime and paranormal podcasts and suggested they start one of their own.
When she’s not podcasting, Amy can be found reading (mostly smutty, paranormal books she refuses to discuss) and cuddling with her cat, Boo, in bed.

Boo
Resident Familiar
Found at 4 AM on a cold December morning under a car in Brooklyn, Boo was rescued despite fighting tooth and nail to continue living his tiny thug life on the streets. He now enjoys a pampered lifestyle filled with toys and treats and likes to spend his time spying on pedestrians from his sixth floor apartment and interrupting Amy’s efforts to work at her computer.
How We Met…
Monique and Amy were both freelancing in the events world and despite working for the same company for several years, had never actually met one another. Then, both their lives changed forever, when on Amy’s birthday (of all days), the two were scheduled to work together on the same program for a month. On their first day, Monique casually mentioned that she was listening to a podcast on the history of the lobotomy to which Amy immediately exclaimed, “You know the man who invented the lobotomy won a Nobel Prize and I will never get over it!” Realizing they were two peas in a f*cked up pod, Monique and Amy immediately became best friends and Another F*cking Horror Podcast was born…
